Scrapbook Mother's Day Album

Hola! Cómo están? Cuánto tiempo sin pasar por aquí. Estuve unos días, bueno un poquito más de un mes sin grabar video tutoriales. Han sido días un tanto difíciles pero ya estoy mejor y con muchas ganas de seguir compartiendo.

Hello! How are you? I have not been here in a while. I had a few days, well a little more than a month, without recording video tutorials. It has been a bit difficult days but I'm better and want to keep sharing.

El álbum lo hice usando papel decorado de la colección Confeti de DCWV. Es de cumpleaños por eso los papeles son muy coloridos. Escogí papeles con diseños muy generales como puntos y líneas. Utilicé argollas para encuadernar y cartón prensado de 2 mm de grosor para las cubiertas y páginas.

I made this album using pattern paper from the DCWV Confetti collection. It's a birthday pattern paper collection so the papers are very colorful. I chose papers with very general designs like dots and lines. I used binding rings and 2mm thick chipboard for covers and pages.

El álbum mide 6 1/2 por 7 pulgadas para colocar fotografías de 6" por 4". Decidí agregar unos cuantos desplegables para poder incluir más fotografías. También cuenta con tres bolsillos, dos en el interior de las cubiertas y otro mas en una de las páginas.

The album measures 6 1/2 by 7 inches to place 6" by 4" photographs. I decided to add a few drop-downs to include more photos. It also has three pockets, two inside the covers and another on one of the pages.

Coloqué pocos elementos decorativos pero agregué un sobre con pegatinas y recortables para que la persona a quien se le va a regalar el álbum pueda decorar sus fotografías después de pegarlas en las páginas.

I put a few decorative elements but I added an envelope with stickers and cutouts so the person, to whom the album is going to be given, can decorate their photographs after pasting them into the pages.

Puedes incluir desplegables en el otro lado de la página también e incluir elementos decorativos con volúmen o 3D sólo asegurate de usar unas argollas de la medida adecuada. Para este álbum utilicé anillas de una pulgada de diametro.

You can include drop-downs on the other side of the page as well and include decorative elements with volume or 3D just make sure you use appropriately sized rings. For this album I used one inch rings.

En el bolsillo final coloqué una etiqueta y unas cuantas tarjetas para seguir documentando o inclusive para agregar mas fotografías.

In the final pocket I placed a label and a few cards to continue documenting or to add more photographs.
